The line said by Joe Simpson: “You gotta make decisions. You gotta keep making decisions, even if they’re wrong decisions, you know. If you don’t make decisions, you’re stuffed.” Joe at this time is at a point of desperation and has to try anything or he knows that he is going to die. Joe keeps on making these decisions which end up saving his life and the quote almost helps you to cope with situations of extramity and panic. The way he uses the word”gotta” in the quote is like he is speaking normally and is not in a bad situaition which is really humanly.
