Anthology hawk roosting.

In this poem, the author puts us in the position of a hawk which is above the world, presumably in  a tree. The author describes the hawk. The hooked feet and the hooked head. On the first paragraph he used descriptive techniques to introduce us by describing the animal and telling us about how it hunts.

In the second paragraph we are then told about the advantage of being high up in the trees, the author shows us the delight of the hawk baing above and how it enjoys the buoyancy of the air.

I then tells about the hawk sitting on top of a branch and that it is a product of Gods creation. It says it is ‘holding creation’ which I think may mean the tree is creation or the bird has prey which is also creation. This shows us the bird has thoughts.

It shows the bird does what it wants as it flies and is so powerful as it can hunt and kill as it wants to. The flight of the hawk is direct which may mean it knows where it is going as it may be hunting trying to get a certain thing. It then ends by telling that nothing in the world has changed since it began.
